Terms of Service
Version v1 — last updated 23 April 2026
These terms of service govern your use of the i2ed platform, whether you are a seller operating a store or a buyer making a purchase. By using i2ed you agree to be bound by these terms
1. About i2ed
i2ed is a marketplace platform that enables independent sellers to create online stores, list physical products, and process transactions. i2ed provides the technology, infrastructure, and tools, but does not own, produce, or sell the products listed on any store. Each store on i2ed is independently owned and operated by its seller
2. Eligibility & Age Requirements
i2ed is intended for use by adults. You must be at least 18 years of age to create a store, place an order, or make an offer on i2ed. By using the platform you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
Each time you place an order, make an offer, or bind an offer on i2ed, you reconfirm that you are 18 or older. Misrepresenting your age is a breach of these terms and may result in your account, order, or offer being cancelled without refund beyond what is required by law
Where a person under the age of 18 uses the platform with the permission or payment method of a parent or legal guardian, the parent or guardian is deemed to have authorised the transaction and accepted these terms on behalf of the minor, and is responsible for the minor's use of the platform
i2ed may, at its discretion, cancel or void any order or offer made by a person who is not 18 or older, and may require age verification before releasing funds or completing a transaction
Nothing in this section limits any rights a buyer may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded by contract
3. Accounts
To create a store on i2ed you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account
Buyers do not need an account to make a purchase. By placing an order or making an offer through any i2ed-hosted store, you agree to these terms and the individual store's terms and conditions
4. Seller Responsibilities
As a seller on i2ed you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful product descriptions, images, and pricing
- Fulfil orders in a timely manner and communicate with buyers about shipping and delivery
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including consumer protection and tax obligations
- Not list prohibited items (see Section 5)
- Maintain a valid Stripe Connect account for payment processing
Sellers are solely responsible for their products, customer service, shipping, and any disputes with buyers. i2ed is not a party to transactions between sellers and buyers
5. Buyer Responsibilities
As a buyer on i2ed you agree to:
- Provide accurate payment and shipping information at checkout
- Review the individual store's terms and conditions before making a purchase
- Contact the seller directly for any order-related enquiries or issues
i2ed does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by sellers. Purchases are made at your own discretion
6. Prohibited Items & Activities
Sellers may not list or sell any of the following on i2ed:
- Counterfeit, replica, or trademark-infringing goods
- Stolen property
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Hazardous materials
- Items that violate any applicable law or regulation
i2ed reserves the right to remove any listing and take action against any store found to be in violation of these restrictions
7. Fees & Payments
i2ed charges a 6.5% transaction fee on each sale made through the platform. This fee is deducted automatically via Stripe Connect before the seller receives their payout. Depending on the store's configuration, this fee may be absorbed by the seller, passed on to the buyer, or split between both
Sellers may also subscribe to i2ed Premium for access to additional features. Premium subscription fees are billed separately and are non-refundable
All payments are processed through Stripe. i2ed does not hold seller funds. Payouts are made directly by Stripe to the seller's connected account. i2ed is not responsible for payment processing delays or issues caused by Stripe
8. Intellectual Property
Sellers retain ownership of all content they upload to their store, including product images, descriptions, and branding. By uploading content to i2ed, sellers grant i2ed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote that content as part of operating the platform
The i2ed platform, including its name, logo, design, and underlying technology, is the property of i2ed. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without prior written permission
9. Store Suspension & Termination
i2ed may pause or suspend a store if it is found to be in violation of these terms, including but not limited to listing prohibited items, engaging in fraudulent activity, or receiving excessive unresolved buyer complaints
Before taking permanent action, i2ed will make reasonable efforts to contact the seller to explain the issue and provide an opportunity to comply. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent removal from the platform
Sellers may close their store and delete their account at any time. Outstanding orders must be fulfilled or refunded before account closure
10. Limitation of Liability
i2ed provides the platform on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, i2ed is not liable for:
- The quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of products listed by sellers
- Disputes between buyers and sellers
- Loss of revenue, data, or profits arising from use of the platform
- Service interruptions, downtime, or technical errors
- Actions taken by Stripe or any third-party service provider
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation
11. Disputes
Disputes arising from a purchase are between the buyer and the seller. i2ed does not mediate disputes between buyers and sellers. Unresolved payment disputes are handled through Stripe's chargeback and dispute process
For disputes related to the i2ed platform itself, please contact i2ed directly at hello@i2ed.site
12. Privacy
Your use of i2ed is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information
13. Changes to These Terms
i2ed may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms are posted at this page and take effect from the posted date. Your continued use of the platform after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms
Where we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email to the address on file. It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date. If you do not accept updated terms, you must stop using the platform
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the i2ed platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia
